About Green, James POTENTIAL FATHER : in Ashwell at
the right time had daughter Sarah born in 1720. 1716 Purchased dower rights to
cottage with 1rood on Common Lane, plus 3 roods in North field from
John and Elizabeth Webb of Ashwell. See document 26456 (original in
Herts County Record office). This is house the William Bryant and
descedents own. Assume cottage and land passed to eldest daughter Ann,
and then to Ann`s husband.
Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, while
in a different county, it is only six miles NW of Ashwell. Northill is
three miles east of Biggleswade
