G"day. Concerning Condurrow. There is a hamlet known as Condurrow, (marked
on the maps as Higher Condurrow) situated ashort distance to the
east of
Beacon. It is on a minor road leading to Tuckingmill. Beacon is on the road
from Camborne to Troon, about halfway. Condurrow is at the site of the
Greater Condurrow mine which operated from 1860 to 1913. The engine house is
still standing in a fine state of preservation and is quite a landmark.
There is another Condurrow situated on the road into St. Anthonay in Meneage.
Hope this helps.
Bill.
