William Senior's Will

William Martin de Spratton 1589
William Martin of Spratton in the Countie of Northton, husbandman, being frail of body but  pfect  of my rembrance (thanks be to God) make and end.. this my last will & testament in manor and forme.  my bodie to be buried in the Churchyard of Spratton.
Item I give and bequeath to the poor within the village of Spratton five shillings.
Item I give and bequeath to Cicely my daughter £20 to be payed with in one year after my decease if my old pound shall  foe thintre. goods
Item I give and bequeath to the said Cicely a rodl.or coffer and  all that is therein and  coverlott. And blankets and bolster and featherbed and a mattress.
Item I give to Suzanna Pearson five pounds to be payd when she shall accomplish  the age of cci (21) years or at the discretion of my executors
Item I give to Annie Pearson five shjillings to be paid with in one year after my decease.
Item I give to Elizabeth Pearson five shillings to be payd within one year after my decease
Item I give to Mary Pearson 1 calf  bullock of a year old to reach her within three years after my decease.
Item I give to Mgaret Pearson five shillings to be payd her in four years after ny decease
Item I give to Cecily Pearson five shillings to be payd within five  years after my decease
Item I give to Wm Pearson five shillings to be payed within one yeares after my decease
Item I give to Alice Andrews one Platter
Item I give to Richard Martyn one rood of rye & one rood of barley& one rood of Poats to be his within one year after my decease at the discretion of my executors.
Item I will that the said Richard Martyn shall have eceine  of my executor CC P within one year after my decease and Ciiv P vd dai. Asolsomoneth after  Ciij P iijd that daie Ansoluomonth after that.
Item I make & ordayne Wm Martyn my sonne my executor to whom I give the possession of my goods & chattels, Lands trust ............. my bodie burial my funeral & my debts discharged.
