Comments from David Farr
The document is printed on a fairly thick, robust material which almost
has the feel of a fine, weatherproof leather. I suppose it would have
to be able to withstand the elements as I presume it would have had to
be displayed at the workings. Do you have any thoughts on this? In each
of the four corners of the document there are small nail holes where it
has obviously been displayed at some time.
