Notes from Claire and Christine's Researches

In 1903 he was living in North Fitzroy, listed on a rates payer list. (Fitzroy City Press 16/1/1903).
In 1914 the census lists Herbert and Annie living at 32 Birkenhead Street North Fitzroy. Herbert is listed as a carpenter.
In 1919 they are living at 116 Cramer Street Preston.
In 1924 Herbert and Annie are living at 24 Hotham Street in Preston. Herbert is listed as a carpenter.
In 1931 they are living at 24 Hotham street still. This continues for 1936. In 1937 they are still living at the same house however there is a increase in people living in the house. Clarice Bertha and Allan Julian are also listed as living there. Some of Herbert's nieces and nephews are also listed as living in the similar area.
In 1942 they are remain in the same house. Harry, Alan and Lillas are also listed as living at the same address. Harry at least was away on war service
In 1949
they are remain in the same house.
In 1954 the address is the same. However Annie is not listed.
