The extensive Davis genealogy  back to the sixteenth century has been obtained from  FamilySearch, the Latter Day Saints site.
This was complemented by data from  Robyn Lanham and Louise Cunningham

Research Notes

LDS checked. It seems to be saying that Emme's maiden name was Davis or Davyes, and in fact there is an Emme Davyes christened in Wint Earls at about the right time, so believe it.
There are two records for Samuel  Davis, a birth record "about 1642", no parents. I assume from a death record + age, and a christening 1651 in Wint Earls, father John. Leave it as an open question
