An email pointed me to an interesting
Wikitree page managed by Margie Partridge

browse)

Comments Les Rowley
Ancestry has two records for Jane Hawkins daughter of Frances
and Mary, but they surely are the sams Jane

One possibility is that we have two fsmilies here
Supporting this
It avoids having children Frances and Francis in the one family
It avoids the birth of the children spanning 24 years in one
family
We can now divide into a protestant (Frances, James, Ellen
and Catholic Families (Jane, Elizabeth, Francis, Hannah
and George
The second family now has the firstborn son named after the
father (common practice)
The failure to find any of the family in the 1841 or 1851 census
databases is a bit disconcerting - with the information we have, I
would expect to find them.
