Acknowledgement

Susan Old, the Online Parish Clerk for St Columb Major supplied a wonderful response to a query on Colen's baptism. She mapped out  three generations back, for someone who had been a very murky figure to us.  In response to a query about more information about  Thomas and John Bayle, and Phillipa Langdon, Susan replied that it is a bit far back at this stage.

Peter Martin has supplied the following link.
http://www.archive.org/stream/registersofparis00stco#page/162/mode/2up
This leads to a PDF (The registers of the Parish of St Columb Major 1539-1780), intriguingly sourced from a copy in the University of California Library
Our copy filed under Tippett

Research Notes

LDS had an extensive Ancestral file for Thomas Inch, submitted by  GEOFFREY & MAVIS DRAPER, 28 LARRA CRESENT, NORTH ROCKS, NSW 2151. Much appreciated
There is a Thomas Bayle christened 1633 St Columb Major, but the odds are he is a grandfather if anything
So declare the trail dead at this point?
