Research Notes

There is another possible Thomas Sarah marriage 24 Sep 1771 St Martin, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England (Sarah Smith), but geography and timing strongly suggest Sarah Daves (90%)
Looking for Thomas' christening, LDS gives 7 in the period 1740-50, the closest being two in Salisbury (3 miles S of  Winterbourne), and  one each in  Downton   (8 miles S of  Winterbourne) and Fordinbridge  (12 miles S of  Winterbourne).
LDS for John  Davis born Wiltshire 1710-20 yeilds a disconcerting 13 possibles. However the standout on timing and location was born in Winterbourne Earls  parents James and Mary Davies 27 Dec 1716, and has to be an 80% chance.
