In the name of God Amen I Jane Slade of Winfrith in the county of Dorset Widow being sick in body but of perfect memory thanks be to God make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in mannoer and form following
First I give and bequeath my soul unto the hands of almighty God my Christ and redeemer and my body to be buried in the parish church yard of Winfrith aforesaid
Imp. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Edith Slade the sum of twenty pounds
Item I give unto my daughter Edith Slade my bed and bedstead  and all things thereunto belonging in what nature so ever it be meaning the furniture with one chest and also the little crook and likewise a new kettle a Couell one -------- with a payle and part of my pewter to be to her with one Barrell with two stookes of bees
Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Slade one cupboard in the hall and likewayes a Table board in the hall and after his decease to remain unto his son Edward Slade
I do likewise give unto my grand child John Slade one pewter dish
I do give unto my grand child Jane Stevens one coverlet a pair of sheets with some wareing apparell as my executors think fit
I give unto my son Richard Slade one mare colt collerd sorrell
Item I give unto my son David Slade one -----
Item I give and bequeath unto my son David Slade and my son Richard Slade all my chattels being horse beasts Rudder Beastes and also my sheep and corn and likewayes all the rest of my goods in what nature soever it be as
likeways any sum of money to be and to remain unto my two sons namely David and Richard Slade to be equally divided betweeen them
Item I do likeways give unto my sons Richard and David Slade the ground which I have some term to time of Nicholas Lillington to remain to both of them equally as long as the loanine lastly
Lastly I give unto the poor widows of the parish of Winfrith five shillings eight pence to be distributed awarding unto the descretion of my executors
Item I do make my two sons David and Richard Slade my whole executors to pay these legacies performed within twelve months and a day after my decease hereunto I have set my hand and seal this first day of August 1672
Sealed and delivered in the precence of us
