Philip
Reede. Of Wendron,
will dated 8 Aug. 1605, proved 13 Dec. 1605 A.C.C. (he
requested burial in Wendron church and made bequests to the
poor of Wendron, Gwennap, Stithians and Redruth; he mentions
his apprentice, who appears to have been a carpenter,
therefore Philip himself was probably a carpenter; he was
owed £6 by Mr Richard Bossawsack of Bossawsack in
Constantine, who was one of the appraisers of his estate);
inventory totalled £60. Married Joane … Administratrix of
her husband's estate (all her children appear to have been
minors in 1605). Children:
1.

2. John
Reed. Named in his
father's will (given his father's working tools). Taxed on
goods worth £3 in Lay Subsidy of Gwennap 1628.
3.
Katherin. Named in
her father's will.
